GETYA MARKETING MANAGEMENT FZCO (“we”, “us”) operates cleanmydatabase.com. This notice explains how we handle personal data. Contact: support@cleanmydatabase.com, IFZA BUSINESS PARK, SILICON OASIS, DUBAI,UAE.
1. Two kinds of data
Your account and payment data. For this we are the controller. It covers your name, company, email address, login details, the cleans you run, and your payment records (card payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive full card details).
The contact lists you upload. For these we act as your processor. You are the controller and decide why the data is processed. We process uploaded files only to carry out the checks you select and deliver your results.
2. How we use uploaded lists
- To run the checks you choose (for example TPS/CTPS, HLR, landline, email, MPS or SMS sending) through our screening provider, sending only the fields each check needs.
- To produce your results file and email you a link to it.
We do not sell, rent or share uploaded data, add it to any database, or use it for our own marketing or profiling.
3. Retention
Uploaded files and results files are deleted automatically 30 days after processing. We keep a summary of each clean (file name, record count, checks run, cost and date) for your account history and our accounting records.
4. Sub-processors
- A specialist data screening provider: carries out telephone, email and address checks and SMS delivery on our behalf, under a written contract.
- Stripe: payment processing, receipts and invoices.
- Our hosting provider: server infrastructure and email delivery.
- tawk.to (if live chat is shown): chat messages you choose to send.
5. Lawful bases
We process account data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations such as accounting, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service. Where you upload lists, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process that data and to have it screened.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and ask for data portability. If a request concerns data in a list uploaded by one of our customers, we’ll pass it to that customer as controller. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages. If live chat is enabled, tawk.to may set cookies to run the chat widget.
8. Security
The site uses HTTPS throughout. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, stored files are kept outside public access, and access to administration is restricted.
9. Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
